URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE SEMINARS ON THE CIVIL SERVICE LAW AND RULES SPONSORED BY THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION.

In pursuance of its leadership function in the developed all government personnel at all levels, the Civil Service Commission will conduct a series of seminars on the Service Law and Rules in cooperation with the local governments, as hereunder indicated:

Bacolod City Provinces and Cities Embraced:
August 21 – 23 Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental, Antique, Alkan, Iloilo Capiz, Siquijor, Iloilo City, Roxas City, Bacolod City, Dumaguete City, Silay City, San Carlos City
Tacloban City Provinces and Cities Embraced:
September 25 – 27 Leyte del Sur, Leyte, Samar, Bohol, Cebu, Calbayog City, Tacloban City, Ormoc City, Tagbilaran City, Toledo City, Davao City, Lapu-lapu City, Cebu City
Zamboanga City Provinces and Cities Embraced:
October 23 – 25 Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Cotabato, Sulu, Basilan City, Zamboanga City, Cotabato City, Lanao del Sur
Cagayan do Oro City Provinces and Cities Embraced:
November 27 – 29 Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Marawi City, Iligan City, Cagayan de Oro City, Gingoog City, Davao, Davao City

These seminars are aimed to securing understanding, enlightened appreciation, and proper implementation of the Civil Service Law and Rules by all officials and employees of the government w called upon “to insure .and promote the constitutional mandate regarding appointments only according to merit and fitness, and to provide within the public service a progressive system of personnel administration to insure the maintenance of an honest, efficient., progressive and courteous civil service” in the Philippines.1âшphi1

In view of the importance of the objectives of these seminars, all local government subdivisions and national government agencies and units within the territorial limits of the region whore the training program will he conducted hereby authorized to send not more than three (3) participants each to the seminar whose participation shall be considered official business, with expenses for transportation, lodging, subsistence, and seminar fees, chargeable against appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance in the seminar.
