[ Memorandum Circular No. 192, June 17, 1968 ]

REQUIRING THE SUBMISSION TO THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF LISTS OF OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES WHO FAILED TO FILE THEIR INCOME TAX RETURNS FOR 1967.

Pursuant to the National Internal Revenue Code (C.A. No. 466, as amended) it is the obligation of every citizen the Philippines who has a gross income of P1,800.00 or more during the preceding calendar year to file an income tax return on or before April 15th of the following year.

It is desired that a list of all officials and employees in each of the executive departments, including bureaus, offices and entities under it, as well as these in independent offices, who failed to file income tax returns for the calendar year 1967 be submitted to the Office of the President. For this purpose, each executive department shall require the bureaus, offices and entities under it to submit the lists direct to the department which shall compile them and then submit such compilation to the Records Division of this Office. Independent offices and those under the Office of the President shall submit their lists directly to the said Division.

The said lists shall be submitted to the Office of the President not later than June 30, 1968.1âшphi1

All heads of departments, independent offices, and offices under the Office of the President shall see to it that this Circular is duly compiled with in so far as their respective offices are concerned.
