AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF CERTAIN GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES IN THE 9TH ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE CONFEDERATION OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES ORGANIZATIONS, INC.

The Confederation of Government Employees Organizations (COGEO), Inc., will hold its 9th Annual Convention on June 10-11, 1968, at the Rizal Provincial Social Hall at Pasig, Rizal, on the theme “FOR A MORE REALISTIC A1TR0ACK TO PRESSING EMPLOYEE PROBLEMS.”

Aside from the annual election of members of the COGEO Board of Directors, important and urgent problems affecting government employees will be taken up during the convention.

Government employees organizations affiliated with the COGEO are hereby authorized to send not more than ten (10) delegate to the convention whose attendance shall be on official business, that is, with expenses for transportation, subsistence , lodging and convention fees chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to tin availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements. National and suburban local offices, including government employees organizations net affiliated with COGEO, may each send not more than two (2) observers also on official business.

The delegates and observers stall submit to their respective agency heads a report or their attendance and participation in the convention.1âшphi1
