URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE CONVENTION-SEMINAR FOR ALL PROVINCIAL SECRETARIES, CITY SECRETARIES AND SECRETARIES TO MAYORS OF CHARTERED CITIES.

The League of Provincial and City Secretaries of the Philippines, Inc., will hold a convention-seminar in Quezon City on April 23-25, 1960, for provincial secretaries, city secretaries, and secretaries to mayors of chartered cities.

The primary purpose of this convention-seminar is to acquaint the members of the League with recent legislations affecting local governments, modern trends in public administration and other vital matters concerning the proper discharge of their duties and responsibilities.

In view of the importance of this convention-seminar, all heads of provincial and city governments are hereby urged to send the provincial secretaries, city secretaries and secretaries to mayors of chartered cities to attend said convention-seminar. Their attendance thereto shall be on official time and their expenses for transportation, subsists rice, lodging, and conference fees, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants in this convention-seminar shall submit a report to their respective agency heads on their attendance and participation therein.1âшphi1
