URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE SEMINAR ON RURAL RADIO BROADCASTING TO BE HELD IN BAGUIO CITY ON APRIL 22-28, 1968.

The Rural Broadcasters’ Council, in cooperation with the food production drive of the Rice and Corn Production Coordinating Council, will hold a seminar on rural radio broadcasting in the City of Baguio on April 22-28, 1968.

The purpose of the seminar is to utilize effectively rural broadcasting as a means of educating the farmers in modern agricultural techniques to increase food production.

In view of the importance of this seminar in our food production program, all heads of Departments, bureaus and offices indicated in the attached list are hereby urged to send not more than two (2) representatives to this seminar. Participants’ attendance shall be on official time and their expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and seminar fees in connection therewith shall be chargeable against the appropriation of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report of their attendance and participation in the seminar.
