URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE 13TH ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION (PAVE), INC.

The Philippine Association for Vocational Education (PAVE), Inc., a professional association of officials and employees of the Bureau of Vocational Education and teachers, supervisors and administrators of government vocational-technical schools and colleges, will hold its 13th Annual Convention in Manila on June 27-29, 1968, on the theme: “Building ‘PAVE’ Towards a Position of Strength for National Greatness.”

Among other objectives, the convention will consider the re-shaping and re-vitalizing of the government’s vocational education program in view of the) greater importance it has assumed in the over-all economic development scheme of the Administration.

To insure the success of the convention, the attendance of not more than two (2) representatives from each vocational-technical school and college operating under the Bureau of Vocational Education, as well as of not more than fifteen (15) ranking officials of the said Bureau, is hereby authorized on official business, i.e., with reasonable expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging chargeable against funds of their respective offices, schools or colleges, subject to the availability thereof and the usual audit.

The Association shall render a report on the convention within 15 days after its termination, furnishing this Office with two copies thereof.1âшphi1
