[ Memorandum Circular No. 162, March 5, 1968 ]

REQUIRING THE SUBMISSION TO THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF LISTS OF OFFICIAL AND EMPLOYEES WHO FAILED TO FILE THEIR STATEMENTS OF ASSETS AND LIABILITIES WITHIN THE TIME LIMIT PRESCRIBED UNDER R.A. 3019.

Under Memorandum Circular No. 144 dated January 10, 1968, as amended by Memorandum Circular No. 146, dated January 19, 1968, all officials and employees of the government concerned were reminded of their obligation to file their statements of assets and liabilities for this year within the month of January.

It is desired that a list of all officials and employees in each of the executive departments, including the bureau, offices, and entitles under it, as well as those in independent offices, and in offices under the Office of the President, who failed to file the required statements within the regleneritary period, be submitted to this Office not later than March 14, 1968.

The chief of the records unit or of any other unit charged with the duty of receiving statements of assets and liabilities in each department, bureau, office or entity is hereby directed to adopt strict measures to insure that the true and correct date of receipt is reflected on each of the statements received by his unit.

All heads of department, independent officers and offices under the Office of the President shall see to it that this Circular is duly complied with in so far as their respective offices are concerned.1âшphi1
