[ Memorandum Circular No. 159, February 19, 1968 ]

PROHIBITING THE DETAIL OF NATIONAL GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL FROM THE PROVINCES TO NATIONAL GOVERNMENT OFFICES IN MANILA.

In line with the administration’s campaign to reduce to the minimum the administrative expenses of the national government in order to conserve public funds for the much-needed projects, the detail of national government personnel with station in the provinces to national government offices in Manila is hereby prohibited, as such detail constitutes a big drain in government funds payable in the form of per diems and allowances incident thereto.

This Order shall take effect immediately.1âшphi1
