[ Memorandum Circular No. 154, February 8, 1968 ]

REQUIRING ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICES, INCLUDING GOVERNMENT-OWNED OR CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS, AS WELL AS PROVINCIAL, CITY AND MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENTS, TO REDUCE PURCHASES OF SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT.

In view of the need for effecting economy in the operations of the government to meet the increasing demands of the public service, all government offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, as well as provincial, city and municipal governments, are hereby directed to reduce purchases of supplies and equipment by, as much as possible, ten per cent for the current fiscal year.
