URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE EIGHTH NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF GOVERNMENT TRAINING OFFICERS.
The Government Training Officers Association of the Philippines (GTOAP), Inc., with the technical assistance of the Civil Service Commission, the College of Public Administration of the University of the Philippines, the Budget Commission, and the National Economic Council, will hold its 8th National Conference on April 17-19, 1968, at the Social Hall of the Social Security System, Quezon City, on the theme: “Extending the Frontiers of Career and Employee Development.”
The Conference will explore all possible avenues towards a dynamic and responsive career service in the Government by evaluating existing facilities, as well as looking for new frontiers of career and employee development.
In view of the value and importance of his conference, all heads of departments and chiefs bureaus and offices, provincial, city and municipal government, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send their training officers and/or other employees who are members of the GTOAP and not more than two of their supervisory personnel. This limitation in number does not include conference officials. Their attendance shall be on official time and their expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and conference fees, in connection therewith shall be charge against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
Delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads report of their attendance and participation in the conference.1âшphi1
