URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE U. P. TRAINING PROGRAM IN DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS.

The School of Economics of the University of the Philippines, with the assistance of the University of Wisconsin, will conduct its Fourth Training Program in Development Economics from July, 1968 to April, 1969.

With an eye towards the ultimate goal of national economic development, this Training Program is designed specifically to improve the skills of persons engaged in substantive planning and programming for economic growth.

All office of the government, including government-owned or controlled corporations, national and regional planning authorities and entities, as well as local governments, involved in planning and programming of activities and projects geared towards economic growth are hereby urged to send their technical personnel who meet the qualification requirements to attend the Training Program. Participation in the Program may be authorized by the Department head concerned on official time. Transportation and meal allowances of participants will be provided by the U.P. School of Economics.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads monthly progress reports and final reports on their participation in the training program.1âшphi1
