URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE FOURTH NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF GOVERNMENT SUPPLY OFFICERS AND PROPERTY CUSTODIANS.

The Government Supply Officers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (GSOAPI), with the technical assistance of the Department of General Services, the Civil Service Commission and the Management Service of the Budget Commission, will hold its fourth national convention at Baguio City on June 28-30, 19-67, on the theme: “Supply Management in Relation to the Economic Development of the Country.”

The convention aims to crystallize new ideas and concepts of supply management with a view to further enhancing economy and efficiency in the handling of government supplies, materials and equipment, an important contributory factor to the -speedy attainment of the objectives of the Administration’s economic development program,

All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, chartered cities, provincial and municipal governments, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send not more than two of their supply personnel, preferably those who are members of the GSOAPI, to attend the convention on official time, with expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging and convention fees, in connection therewith chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and’ auditing requirements.

The delegates shall submit a report to their respective agency heads of their attendance and participation in the convention.1âшphi1
