AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF GOVERNMENT CHIEF ACCOUNTANTS, HEADS OF ACCOUNTING UNITS AND CONCERNED IN A SEMINAR ON “THE ROLE OF GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTANTS TOWARDS AN EFFECTIVE FISCAL ADMINISTRATION.”
The Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines, Inc. (AGAP), will sponsor a four-day seminar in Baguio City on October 17-20, 1966, on the subject “The Role of Government Accountants Towards an Effective Fiscal Administration.”
The seminar is geared towards the following objectives: (a) to inculcate upon the accountant a continued interest towards his responsibilities and his work; (b) to emphasize self-development and training for professional competence and (c) to reappraise the Accountant’s relationship with the people works with, the management, and the public.
All heads of departments and chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorize to the seminar their chief accountants p the heads of their accounting units as well as other employees who are members of the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines, Ins., provided not more than two participants shall come from each agency.1âшphi1 This limitation in number does not apply to those in charge of preparations for the transportation, subsistence and lodging, as well as seminar fees, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
The participants shall render report to their respective agency heads on their attendance and participation in the seminar.
