AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF CERTAIN LOCAL CHIEFS OF POLICE IN A CONFERENCE ON PEACE AND ORDER.
A conference of Chiefs of Police of certain municipalities and chartered cities in the provinces of Rizal and Bulacan, including Manila, will be held at Camp Crame, Quezon City, on June 23, 1966, under the auspices of the Philippine Constabulary.
The conference is designed to meet the urgent need to arrest the upsurge of lawlessness and criminality which serve as a stumbling block to the administration’s efforts towards the complete restoration of peace and order in the country as well as to enhance the people’s confidence not only in the law enforcing agencies but also in the government itself.
The Chiefs of Police of Manila, Caloocan, Pasay, and Quezon City; Las Piñas, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Makati, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasig and San Juan, all of the province of Rizal and the Chief of Police of Valenzuela, Bulacan, are hereby authorized to attend the inference on official time, with reasonable expenses for transportation and per diems chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
Chief of Constabulary shall render a report to this Office on the conference within 15 days after its termination.1âшphi1
