MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 27, March 25, 1966 ] URGING THE ATTENDANCE OF MUNICIPAL MAYORS WHO HAVE NOT ATTENDED THE TWO MAYORS SEMINAR CONDUCTED BY THE PACD DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1964-1965 AND VICE-MAYORS WHO HAVE BEEN INVITED IN THE THIRD SEMINAR ON PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE PACD FROM MARCH 28 TO APRIL 1, 1966, AT THE TEACHERS’ CAMP, BAGUIO CITY. The Presidential Assistant on Community Development has programmed a third seminar on Public Administration and Community Development for mayors and vice-mayors of municipalities within the I Community Development Region comprising the provinces of Batanes, Ilocos Sur, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Pangasinan, La Union, Nueva Ecija, Ilocos Norte, Zambales Abra, Cagayan, Mountain Province and Tarlac, for the period from March 28 to April 1, 1966 at the Teachers’ Camp, Baguio City. In view of the benefits expected to be derived therefrom, it being designed to further promote the effective implementation of the Administration’s community development program, municipal mayors and vice-mayors within the ICD Region who have been invited by the PACD hereby urged to participate in this seminar. Their attendance or official time is hereby authorized and traveling and other expenses to be incurred by them in connection therewith shall be chargeable against the appropriations of their respective municipal governments, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and. auditing requirements.1âшphi1 By authority of the President (SGD.)
