[ MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 61, s. 1964, March 30, 1964 ]

FIXING THE AFTERNOON OFFICE HOURS FROM APRIL 1 TO JUNE 15, 1964, PURSUANT TO EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 77 DATED MARCH 30, 1964

In connection with the penultimate paragraph of Executive Order No. 77, current series, enjoining heads of departments, bureaus, offices, agencies and instrumentalities of the Government, including provincial, city and municipal governments, excluding the City of Baguio, and all corporations owned or controlled by the Government, to require at least one-half of their personnel to be on duty in the afternoon, it is hereby provided that the said after noon duty shall be from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. It is understood that those who will render afternoon duty shall also observe the prescribed office hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

It is also hereby provided that where the half-day session is observed in an office or agency and the exigencies of the service permitting, emergency and casual employees therein may be allowed to enjoy the said privilege without reduction in pay.

Where an office or agency decides not to adopt the half-day session, the full-time office hours shall nevertheless be from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.1âшphi1
