[ GENERAL ORDER NO. 45, March 18, 1974 ]
CHANGING THE CURFEW HOURS FROM TWELVE O'CLOCK MIDNIGHT TO FOUR O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING TO ONE O'CLOCK TO FOUR O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING IN VIEW OF IMPROVED PEACE AND ORDER CONDITIONS IN THE COUNTRY AND TO ENCOURAGE ECONOMIC GROWTH AND TOURISM.
General Order No. 44. dated March 5, 1974 particularly the dispositive portion thereof, is hereby amended to read:

"NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines, pursuant to Proclamation No. 108l, dated September 21, 1972, and No. 1104, dated January 17, 1973 and General Order No. 1, dated September 22, 1972, do hereby order that the curfew prescribed by General Order No. 4, dated September 22, 1972, as amended by General Order No. 23, dated January 13, 1973, shall be between the hours of one o'clock to four o'clock in the morning in the four (4) cities of Manila, Quezon, Pasay and Caloocan and the (13) municipalities of Navotas, Malabon, Valenzuela, Marikina, Pasig, Taguig, Muntinglupa, Parañaque, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Las Piñas, Pateros and Makati comprising the Greater Manila Area, but insofar as it concerns the places/areas outside the aforementioned cities and municipalities comprising the Greater Manila Area, the curfew hours heretofore being observed shall be maintained where, as determined by the Chief of Staff, AFP and as recommended by the Secretary of National Defense duly approved by the President of the Philippines, conditions do not warrant the modification herein ordered, upon grounds of military necessity and National security."
