INCREASING THE PRICE CEILINGS FOR SUGAR IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION
Pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:
Section 1. Section 2(3) of Executive Order No. 412, Series of 1990, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 2. The prime commodities and their respective price ceilings are hereby set as follows:
COMMODITY PRICE CEILING

3. SUGAR
REFINED (Inclusive of 10% VAT) BROWN (VAT exempt) P16.60/KILO
12.00/KILO
x x x"
Section 2. The price ceilings of other commodities provided in Executive Order No. 423, Series of 1990, as well as the price ceilings provided above shall remain in full force and effect until revoked.
Section 3. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon publication in a national newspaper of general circulation.ℒαwρhi৷
