CREATING THE PHILIPPINE TOURIST BOARD
WHEREAS, there is need to coordinate efforts in the development and promotion of tourism in the Philippines, and to involve all entities directly or indirectly connected with tourism so as to provide a wholesome atmosphere for tourists in the Philippines;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create the Philippine Tourist Board composed of the following:

The Board shall serve as an advisory body to establish the proper direction, the long-term and short-term objectives, the standards, and to recommend the necessary legislation, towards the advancement of tourism in the Philippines.
