CREATING THE COTABATO PEACE COMMISSION
By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create the Cotabato Peace Commission composed of the following:

The Commission shall have the following functions:
1. Conduct a conciliation and pacification campaign among the various warring or feuding groups in Cotabato;
2. Look into the root causes of the conflicts, including those relating to land problems; and
3. Recommend to the President solutions to problems it cannot immediately work out.ℒαwρhi৷
The Commission is empowered to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or instrumentality of the Government for such assistance as it may need for the accomplishment of its task.
