DECLARING AND ESTABLISHING THE CUSTOMS ZONE FOR THE PORT OF SAN FERNANDO, LA UNION
WHEREAS, it is desirable that the premises adjoining the piers and wharves at the Port of San Fernando, La Union, be placed under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Customs, for more effective administration and control of the customs service in said port;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 606 of Republic Act No. 1937, do hereby declare the area described hereunder as Customs Zone under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Customs, to wit:
Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being S 65 deg. 39’W 2123.35 m. from B.L.L.M. 1, San Fernando, thence N 81 deg. 17'” 116.23 m. to point 2; N 27 deg. 20’E 72.50 m. to point 3; thence shoreline to point 4; S 3 deg. 57’E 28.00 m. to point 5; S 76 deg. 40’W 77.20 m. to point 6; S 12 deg. 58’E 12.00 m. to point 7; S 12 deg. 28’W 30.20 m. to point 8; S 74 deg. 47’W 73.65 m. to point 9; S 86 deg. 25’W 132.86 m. to point of beginning. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground bearing true. Date of Survey, March 8, 1967. All land areas including roads and other improvements which are included and/or embraced within the area covered by the Grant of Development Rights dated 6 December I960 in favor ofShipside, Incorporated, and all existing and proposed piers, wharves, and berthing spaces including reclamation as well as the whole waterfront of the Port of San Fernando, adjacent to the area herein described, shall also be included in the Customs Zone.
