[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 100, November 02, 1967 ]
AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 46 DATED SEPTEMBER 12, 1966, PROHIBITING THE SLAUGHTER OF CARABAOS AND BUFFALOES, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11
Executive Order No. 46 dated September 12, 1966, prohibiting the slaughter of carabaos and buffaloes is hereby amended so as to allow the slaughter of carabaos and buffaloes under certain conditions:
a. Only male carabaos or buffaloes that are 20 years of age or over may be slaughtered upon issuance of a slaughter permit by the Municipal Treasurer or City Treasurer concerned.
b. No slaughter permit shall be issued by the treasurer concerned unless accompanied by a certificate issued by the Provincial Veterinarian concerned to the effect that the animal to be slaughtered is of the required age and sex and that it is free from any disease.
Certificates of ownership of animals slaughtered in accordance with this Order shall be forwarded to the Director of Animal Industry for statistical purposes.
All Executive Orders or regulations inconsistent herewith are hereby revoked.
