[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 18, March 24, 1966 ]

CREATING THE INTRAMUROS RESTORATION COMMITTEE

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create the Intramuros Restoration Committee composed of the following:

Mr. Alejandro R. Roces	Chairman
Mr. Carlos da Silva	Member
Mr. Ladislao Tolentino	“
Mr. Gregorio Ejercito	“
Mrs. Teresa Roxas	Secretary-Treasurer

The Committee shall take charge of the restoration, preservation and maintenance of the walls, gates and bastions of Intramuros and other historical edifices and artifacts therein as monuments of cultural heritage and historical past of our country;

It is hereby authorized to accept or receive donations and other conveyances by gratuitous title of funds, materials and services for use in the furtherance of its purposes and objectives, as well as to conduct fund drives.

The Committee is likewise empowered to call on any department, bureau, office or agency of the government, including government-owned or controlled corporations, for such assistance as it may need in the discharge of its functions.

Done in the City of Manila, this 24th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-six.
