[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 649, December 07, 1953 ]

ABOLISHING THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF SIBAHAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SURIGAO AND ORGANIZING THE SAME INTO A BARRIO OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LANUZA, SAME PROVINCE

WHEREAS report received in this office indicates that Sibahay, one of the municipal districts in the Province of Surigao, never actually came into being as such, and the territory thereof has been and is being administered by the municipality of Lanuza, also of Surigao;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ELPIDIO QUIRINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section sixty-eight of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby abolish the said municipal district of Sibahay in the Province of Surigao and organize the same into a barrio under the same name in the municipality of Lanuza, same province.

This Order shall take effect immediately.1a⍵⍴h!1

Done in the City of Manila, this 7th day of December, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-three, and of the Independence of the Philippines the eighth.
