[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 476, October 12, 1951 ]
ORGANIZING CERTAIN BARRIOS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA, INTO AN INDEPENDENT MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE NAME OF SANTO TOMAS.
Upon the recommendation of the Provincial Board of Pampanga and pursuant to the provisions of section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code, the barrios of Santo Tomas, San Matias, San Vicente, San Bartolome and Santo Rosario (Pau) are hereby segregated from the municipality of San Fernando, Pampanga, and organized into an independent municipality under the name of Santo Tomas, with the seat of government at the barrio of San Vicente.1âшphi1
The municipality of Santo Tomas as herein organized is separated from the municipality of San Fernando by the following boundary lines:
From M.B.M. No. 30 on the south bank of Mansac River, at the northermost corner of the barrio of San Vicente, running eastward in a straight line across the said river to the opposite bank; thence northeasterly in a straight line passing through the B.B.M. No. 5 to B.B.M. No. 6; thence northeasterly straight to B.B.M. No. 8; thence about the same direction straight to B.B.M. No. 9; thence southeasterly to another monument whose number is not shown in the sketch map, at a point where the southern course of the Dambing Creek meets the west tributary of Pau River; thence southeasterly, then northeasterly, following the course of Pau River to M.B.M. The municipality of Santo Tomas as herein organized shall begin to exist from the date of the appointment and qualification of the mayor, vice-mayor and a majority of the councilors thereof.
Done in the City of Manila, this 12th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-one, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the sixth.
