[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 154, July 09, 1948 ]
EXTENDING THE PERIOD FOR FILING APPLICATIONS FOR EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS GRANTED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 65
WHEREAS, the educational benefits granted by Republic Act No. 65 to veterans and guerrillas are available only to those who signified their desire to study to the Chairman of the Philippine Veterans Board before the end of the year 1947; and
WHEREAS, there are still many veterans and guerrillas who, being otherwise entitled to said educational benefits, failed to establish their right thereto within the period prescribed by law;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ELPIDIO QUIRINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the Philippines, do hereby order that the educational benefits conferred by Republic Act No. 65 to veterans and guerrillas shall be available to those who signify their desire to study to the Chairman of the Philippine Veterans Board before the end of the year 1948.1a⍵⍴h!1
