ORGANIZING THE BARRIOS OF MEDINA AND PORTULIN OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF TALISAYAN, PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MISAMIS, INTO AN INDEPENDENT MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE NAME OF MEDINA
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior, and pursuant to section sixty-eight of the Revised Administrative Code, the barrios of Medina and Portulin, all of the municipality of Talisayan, Province of Oriental Misamis, are hereby organized into an independent municipality under the name of Medina with the seat of government at the barrio of Medina.1a⍵⍴h!1
The municipality of Medina as herein organized shall consist of that portion of the territory of the present municipality of Talisayan, lying southeast of Minbuaya Creek, as identified by the office of the district engineer for Oriental Misamis and indicated in the sketch map of the proposed municipality of Medina, scale 1:40,000, prepared by Gen. Foreman C. T. Aleman, February 20, 1947, and submitted by the district engineer.
The municipality of Talisayan shall have its present territory minus the territory comprised in the municipality of Medina.
The organization herein made shall take effect on July 1, 1948.
Done in the City of Manila, this 21st day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-eight, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the second.
