[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 99, October 22, 1947 ]

TRANSFERRING TO THE NATIONAL ABACA AND OTHER FIBERS CORPORATION THE ADMINISTRATION AND DISPOSITION OF PUBLIC LANDS FORMERLY HELD BY ALIENS OR DUMMY APPLICANTS.

For the purpose of further effectuating the provisions of Executive Order No. 29, dated November 25, 1946, I, MANUEL ROXAS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

1.The public agricultural lands formerly held by aliens or dummy applicants, otherwise known as “dummy landholdings,” containing abaca and coconut plantations, and covered by applications which are rejected and/or cancelled by the Director of Lands or the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, shall be turned over by the Bureau of Lands to the National Abaca and Other Fibers Corporation for administration and disposition, as soon as the orders of rejection or cancellation of the applications involved become final and executory.

2. The National Abaca and Other Fibers Corporation shall not dispose of the lands turned over to it in big parcels but shall subdivide the same into lots of convenient sizes containing not more than ten hectares each for disposition to qualified individual applicants.1a⍵⍴h!1
