[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 54, June 08, 1945 ]
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE SALARIES OF TWO ADDITIONAL JUDGES OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT OF MANILA FOR A PORTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE THIRTIETH NINETEEN HUNDRED AND FORTY FIVE
WHEREAS, by virtue of the Executive Order No. 50, current series, two additional positions of judges for the Municipal Court of the City of Manila have been created;
WHEREAS, City Ordinance No. 2885 of the City of Manila provides appropriations only for four judges of the Municipal Court of Manila;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SERGIO OSMEŅA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and pursuant to the, provisions of the existing laws, do hereby ordain that:
So much of the salary savings or any other amounts which are authorized in City Ordinance No. 2885 of the City of Manila, "Appropriating funds for the necessary expenses of the Government of the City of Manila during the fiscal year ending June thirtieth of the year nineteen hundred and Forty-Two" as may correspond to the period starting from the date of the reestablishment of the government of the City of Manila from February 27, 1945, to June 30, 1945, is hereby appropriated for the payment of the salaries of the two additional judges of the Municipal Court of the City of Manila, who shall receive the same compensation as the existing judges of the said Court.
