MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 201, April 15, 1939 ] AMENDING PARAGRAPH 1 OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 99, DATED JUNE 14, 1937, ENTITLED “REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE PAY AND EMOLUMENTS OF OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE GOVERNMENT CALLED FOR MILITARY TRAINING OR TO EXTENDED TOUR OF ACTIVE DUTY IN THE PHILIPPINE ARMY” Paragraph one of Executive Order Numbered Ninety-nine, dated June fourteenth, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, is hereby amended to read as follows: “1. No official or employee of the Government, while undergoing trainee instruction or who, upon completion thereof, shall have been selected for additional training to qualify him as a commissioned or non-commissioned officer of the Reserve Force, or while undergoing service in the training cadre as R. O. T. C. student, or who shall have been called to regular annual active duty training, or to extended tour of active duty in the Philippine Army, in case he holds a commission in the Reserve Force, shall be compelled to lose his position or to suffer any decrease of pay whatsoever due to his absence in the fulfillment of his military obligations.” Executive Order Numbered One hundred sixty-two, dated September fifth, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, is hereby revoked.1a⍵⍴h!1 Done at the City of Manila, this fifteenth day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty-nine, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the fourth.
