GIVING GOVERNMENT OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES DETAILED TO CENSUS WORK UNDER COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 170, RECESS FROM THEIR REGULAR DUTIES DURING SUCH DETAIL
By virtue of the powers vested in me by sections four and five of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred seventy, providing for the taking of a new census in the Philippines, I, MANUEL L. QUEZON, President of the Philippines, do hereby order that all Government officers or employees who may be detailed to work or assist in the taking of the said census, whether they are in the National, provincial, or municipal government or their dependencies or whether in the Philippine Army or Civil Service, shall be in recess from their regular duties during such detail and continue to receive their salaries in full from the appropriations of their respective offices.1âшphi1
