EXPENDITURE OF P75,000 OF THE 5 PER CENT REQUIRED SAVINGS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Justice and of the Secretary of Finance and pursuant to the provisions of section three of Commonwealth Act Numbered Five, I hereby authorize the expenditure by the Director of Prisons with the approval of the Secretary of Justice of the sum of seventy-five thousand pesos of the five per cent required savings of the Department of Justice for the construction of buildings and other necessary structures, for the purchase of the necessary structures, for the purchase of the necessary equipment and supplies, and for salaries and such other expenses as may be deemed necessary to carry out the provisions of Act Numbered Three thousand nine hundred and eighty-four which authorizes the establishment of a new insular prison outside the City of Manila, pending the appropriation of the necessary fund for this purpose by the National Assembly.1âшphi1
