EXECUTIVE ORDER No. 1.
In view of the recommendations of the Honorable Alberto Barretto, Delegate to the Philippine Assembly from the Province of Zambales and of the provincial board of said province, and pursuant to the provisions of Act Numbered Seventeen hundred and forty-eight, entitled “An Act authorizing the adjustment of provincial and municipal boundaries and authorizing the change of capitals of provinces and subprovinces, as may be necessary from time to time to serve the public convenience and interest,” the nine municipalities of the Province of Zambales as established by Acts Numbered Nine hundred and forty-five and One thousand and four, as amended, and by Executive Order Numbered Fifty-one, series nineteen hundred and seven, are hereby increased to ten by separating the former municipality of San Felipe from the present municipality of San Narciso. The municipality of San Narciso shall consist of the territory which it comprised prior to the passage of Act Numbered Nine hundred and forty-five, and the municipality of San Felipe is hereby reconstituted and shall consist of the territory which it comprised prior to the passage of said Act. The separation herein made shall be effective on March first, nineteen hundred and eight. 1âшphi1(26585-a2)
