[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 266, June 11, 2009 ]

TAKING ACTION ON CELLULAR PHONE COMPLAINTS

WHEREAS, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) is the sole body that exercises jurisdiction over the supervision, adjudication and control over all telecommunications services throughout the country;

WHEREAS, the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) is the primary policy, planning, coordinating, implementing, regulating and administrative entity, of the Government for the promotion, development and regulation of cost-efficient communication facilities and services;

NOW THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

Section 1. The NTC and CICT are hereby instructed to act on cellular phone complaints from dropped calls to disappearing loads.ℒαwρhi৷

Section 2. This Administrative Order shall take effect immediately.
