MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 27, January 24, 2002 ] DIRECTING THE SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NATIONAL DEFENSE TO ORGANIZE THE OBSERVANCE OF THE ARAW NG KAGITINGAN AND THE PHILIPPINE VETERANS WEEK I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby direct the Secretary of the Department of National Defense to organize the observance of Araw ng Kagitingan and the Philippine Veterans Week from April 5 to 11, 2002. The Department of Budget and Management is hereby authorized to release the amount of TWO MILLION PESOS (P2,000,000.00) from the President’s Contingent Fund to defray the expenses for the Year 2002 activities commemorating the Araw ng Kagitingan and the Philippine Veterans Week.
