[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 17, February 11, 1987 ]

FURTHER AMENDING ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 11 CREATING A PRESIDENTIAL INVESTIGATION COMMISSION TO BE KNOWN AS THE CITIZENS’ MENDIOLA COMMISSION.

WHEREAS, under the Administrative Order No. 11, as amended, the deadline set for the Citizens’ Mendiola Commission to submit its findings to the President of the Philippines is February 16, 1987;

WHEREAS, the Citizens’ Mendiola Commission needs additional time to study and evaluate the testimony of numerous witnesses and to prepare the corresponding report thereon.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby further amend Administrative Order No. 11, as amended, to the extent that the Citizens’ Mendiola Commission shall submit its findings not later than February 27, 1987.ℒαwρhi৷
