CREATING A SPECIAL PANEL TO INVESTIGATE CASES INVOLVING KILLINGS AND DISAPPEARANCE OF MEMBERS OF MEDIA
Conformably with pertinent laws, a Special PANEL is hereby created to look into, and investigate cases of, killings and disappearance of members of media for the purpose of prosecuting persons who may be found responsible therefor.
The Special Panel shall be composed of the following:
The Inspector General, AFP
The Judge Advocate General, AFP
The Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence, AFP
The Special Panel shall be assisted by one (1) representative each from the Office of the Presidential Assistant on Military Affairs, this Office, and the Investigation and Legal Panel, PSC and appropriate investigation and prosecution personnel of the Ministry of Justice. In addition, the Panel is empowered to call upon any other government office or agency to assist it in its assigned task.£A⩊phi£
The Panel shall submit to the President, within one (1) week from date, a plan of action. Thereafter, it shall render to the President, thru the Office of the Presidential Assistant on Military Affairs, periodic reports on its investigation and findings.
