PROHIBITING PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES FROM ENTERING INTO CERTAIN KINDS OF OFFICIAL TRANSACTION OR DEALING WITH THE SPOUSES AND RELATIVES OF THE PRESIDENT, THE VICE-PRESIDENT, THE PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE, AND THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
I, CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law and pursuant to the provisions of section 5 of Republic Act No. 3019, otherwise known as the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, and subject to the exceptions therein provided, do hereby prohibit 11 officers and employees of the Government who are holding positions of trust and responsibility from dealing directly or indirectly with any of the spouses or relatives, by consanguinity or affinity within the third civil degree, of the President of the Philippines, the Vice-President of the Philippines, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, in any business transaction, contract, or application with the Government or any other matter callings for action or decision by such officers or employees.
Any officer or employee of the Government, including those of the corporation-owned and controlled by the same, violating this order shall be dealt with accordingly.1aшphi1
