DESIGNATING THE CHIEF OF STAFF, ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES, TO TAKE CHARGE OF SECURITY MEASURES IN CONNECTION WITH SALVAGE OPERATIONS TO BE UNDERTAKEN IN THE PHILIPPINES BY THE JAPANESE.
By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, RAMON MAGSAYSAY, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate the Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines, to take charge of security measures in connection with the salvage operations to be undertaken in the Philippines by Japanese. To that end, he is hereby authorized to call upon the National Bureau of Investigation, the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, the Port Patrol Division of the Bureau of Customs, the Security Unit of the National Shipyards and Steel Corporation, the Manila Police Department and other law-enforcement agencies for such assistance as he may need.£A⩊phi£
