CREATING A COMMITTEE TO COORDINATE THE PLANNING OF THE MARIKINA RIVER MULTIPLE-PURPOSE DEVELOPMENT FOR ELECTRIC-POWER GENERATION, FLOOD CONTROL, IRRIGATION AND WATER SUPPLY
By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, ELPIDIO QUIRINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a Committee composed of the following:

The Committee shall be under the National Economic Council and shall take charge of coordinating the various studies and surveys to be undertaken by the National Power Corporation, the Bureau of Public Works and the Metropolitan Water District in connection with the planning of a multiple-purpose development project designed to effect the control and utilization of the waters of the Marikina River in Montalban, Rizal, for electric-power generation, flood control, irrigation and water supply. The Committee shall submit its report to the Chairman of the National Economic Council.
Done in the City of Manila, this 29th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-three, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the eighth.
