SETTING ASIDE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 23, DATED DECEMBER 21, 1946, AND REINSTATING PROVINCIAL FISCAL MARIANO V. BENEDICTO OF ZAMBOANGA
The informations for murder filed against Mr. Mariano V. Benedicto, Provincial Fiscal of Zamboanga, for the deaths of Amando Perlas and Jesus F. Diez having been dismissed by the Court of First Instance of Iloilo in its order of November 22, 1948, as amended on December 15, 1948, on the ground that he is innocent thereof, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law and in the interest of the public service, do hereby set aside Administrative Order No. 23, dated December 21, 1946, suspending Provincial Fiscal Mariano V. Benedicto, and order his reinstatement in the service. Upon appropriation of the necessary amount by competent authorities, payment of the salary of Mr. Mariano V. Benedicto during the period of his suspension is hereby authorized.ᇈWᑭHIL
