CREATING A COMMITTEE TO CONDUCT NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE ARCHBISHOP OF MANILA FOR THE ACQUISITION BY THE GOVERNMENT OF PROPERTIES BELONGING TO THE LATTER.
By virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and existing laws, I, Manuel Roxas, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a Committee to be composed of the following:

The Committee herein created shall conduct negotiations with the Archbishop of Manila with a view to the acquisition by the Government of such properties owned by the Archbishop as he may be willing to dispose of in favor of the Government and the acquisition of which properties by the Government will promote the public interest. The Committee shall submit to the President as soon as possible a report of the results of its negotiations with the Archbishop of Manila, together with its recommendations.ᇈWᑭHIL
