CREATING A COMMITTEE TO STUDY THE ADVISABILITY OF A COMPROMISE SETTLEMENT OF CASE NO. 2427 OF THE COURT OF FIRST INSTANCE OF ILOILO, “IN RE ESTATE OF FRANCISCO R. SANTOS, DECEASED.”
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Justice, I hereby create and constitute a committee to be composed of the Honorable Manuel A. Roxas, Secretary of Finance, as Chairman, the Honorable Jaime Hernandez, Auditor-General, and the Honorable Roman Ozaeta, Solicitor-General, as members, to consider the offer of settlement made by the contestants in case number two thousand four hundred and twenty-seven of the Court of First Instance of Iloilo, “In re Estate of Francisco R. Santos, deceased,” in which the Government is one of the beneficiaries, and to recommend the terms and conditions, upon which such offer of settlement should be effected, if found proper and advisable. The committee is authorized to meet with the representative or representatives of the said contestants with a view to agreeing upon tentative bases of settlement, and shall submit its findings and recommendations to me within a period of thirty days from this date.ᇈWᑭHIL
