[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 106, October 02, 1939 ]

CREATING A COMMITTEE TO STUDY AND RECOMMEND TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES THE SUSPENSION, EITHER WHOLLY OR PARTIALLY, OF THE EIGHT-HOUR LABOR LAW.

For the purpose of making a study and report on the advisability of suspending, and the terms and conditions of such suspension, until the date of the adjournment of the next regular session of the National Assembly, either wholly or partially, the operation of Commonwealth Act Numbered Four hundred forty-four, commonly known as the Eight-Hour Labor Law, in accordance with the provisions of Com¬monwealth Act Numbered Four hundred ninety-four, a Committee is hereby created to be composed of the following:

Honorable Jose Avelino, Secretary of Labor, Chairman.

Honorable Roman Ozaeta, Solicitor-General, member.

Mr. Gregorio Anonas, General Manager, National Development Company, member.

Mr. Vicente Madrigal, President, Philippine Chamber of Commerce, member.

Mrs. Asuncion Perez, Executive Secretary, Associated Charities of Manila, member.

The Committee herein created shall meet at such times and places as may be designated by its Chairman and shall submit its report and recommendations to the President as soon as practicable.ᇈWᑭHIL
