CREATING A COMMITTEE TO STUDY AND REPORT ON THE ADVISABILITY OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE PRESENT RATE CHARGED BY THE MANILA RAILROAD COMPANY FOR THE CARRIAGE OF MAIL OVER ITS LINES
For the purpose of studying and reporting upon the advisability of adjusting the present rate charged by the Manila Railroad Company for the carriage of mail over its lines, there is hereby created and constituted a Committee which shall meet at such places and times as may be designated by the Chairman and shall be composed of the following members:
(1) Mr. Lope O. Tayao, representing the Budget Commission, Chairman;
(2) Mr. Jesus Alvarez, representing the Bureau of Posts, Member; and
(3) Mr. L. M. Lazaga, representing the Manila Railroad Company, Member.
This Committee is hereby empowered to call on any official, office, branch or dependency of the Government for such data and assistance as may be required. It shall submit its findings and recommendations to the President at the earliest practicable date.1âшphi1
