[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 67, May 26, 1938 ]
CREATING THE “PHILIPPINE AIRWAYS BOARD”
For the purpose of making a thorough investigation into the feasibility of establishing a comprehensive airways system in the Philippines, there is hereby created and constituted a Board, to be known as the “Philippine Airways Board”, which shall meet at the call of the Chairman and shall be composed of the follow members:
Capt. A. R. Crawford, U. S. Army, Acting Director, Bureau of Aeronautics, Chairman;
Hon. Gregorio Anonas. Manager, National Development Company, Member;
Mr. Juan Ruiz, Director of Posts, Member; and
Capt. Mark Lewis, U. S Army, Acting Chief, Philippine Army Air Corps, Member.
The Board hall analyze and report upon such proposals as may have heretofore been submitted to the Government regarding the establishment of an airways system in the Philippines and shall make definite recommendations to the President concerning the nature and scope of desirable governmental participation in such a project.
Such records, statistics find reports on this subject as are on file in the various bureaus and offices of the Government shall be made available to the Board, upon request of the Chairman thereof, for examination and study.1a⍵⍴h!1
The Board shall submit its report to the President at the earliest possible date. The findings, and recommendations of the Board will be supported by such written evidence and statistical reports as may be pertinent and available.
