OUTLINING THE PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED IN ESTABLISHING OR CHANGING BOUNDARIES OF POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS OF THE PHILIPPINES.
In order to establish a definite procedure for fixing or changing the boundaries of political subdivisions and for adjusting conflicts arising in connection therewith, I, MANUEL L. QUEZON, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the provisions of section sixty-nine of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby direct that all correspondence in the future concerning proposed changes in existing boundaries of political subdivisions be routed through the Departments of the Interior, Agriculture and Commerce, and Public Works and Communications, so that the said departments may pass upon the accuracy of the boundary lines of the political subdivisions sought to be established or changed, and may make the necessary comments and recommendations before final action thereon is taken by this Office.1âшphi1
