Court offices and units which deal directly with the public, like receiving and process-serving units of each court, shall have a skeleton force to work on Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., so that these units may effectively serve the public. The Judges of these courts shall inform those assigned to work on Saturday of their assignment three (3) days in advance. An employee so assigned shall have a full day off the following week, on a day to be specified by the Judge of the court concerned. In cities and municipalities or provincial capitals where two or more branches of the same court are located, at least one Judge to be chosen by rotation, the actual number to be determined by the Executive Judge according to the exigencies of the service, shall hold himself readily available on Saturday for matters that may require immediate action.
This revised schedule of office hours shall take effect for each court upon receipt hereof and shall continue to be in full force until revoked.
