CLARIFICATIONS ON COVERAGE
The Court clarifies that the 2022 Bar Syllabi serve as the framework and delimitation of the Bar 2022 Bar Examinations’ coverage, and all questions which will be asked therein will only be formulated on the laws, rules, issuances and jurisprudence pertinent to the topics included therein as of the cut-off date of June 30, 2021. In the interest of clarity, and in order to best aid the bar examinees in their preparations, the Court here issues further clarifications and iterations concerning the conceptual coverage of the 2022 Bar Examinations, thus:
1. Civil Law, Part II
II. Credit Transactions
A. Personal Property Securities (R.A. No. 11057)
B. Real Estate Mortgage
2. Commercial Law
II. Transportation Law
D. Extent of liability
1. Recoverable damages
2. Stipulations limiting liability
3. Limitations under the Montreal Convention
All other repealing laws which are effective as of June 30, 2021 shall be covered, regardless of the existing nomenclature of the legal concepts, the Rule titles, and other similar statutory headings.
Finally, further to its intention of ensuring that the examinees are fully equipped to approach the 2022 Bar Examinations in the most clear-eyed and precise manner, the Court will not hesitate to issue further clarifications on the coverage as may be needed.
