[ MUSLIM MINDANAO AUTONOMY ACT NO. 253]
Begun and held in Cotabato City, on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of October, two thousand and eight.
AN ACT AMENDING MUSLIM MINDANAO AUTONOMY ACT NUMBERED TWO HUNDRED TWENTY TWO, PARTICULARLY SECTIONS ONE AND TWO THEREOF, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Regional Assembly in session assembled:
Section 1. - The original composition of the Municipality of Datu Salibo is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. - Barangays Andavit, Butilen, Pandi, Tee, Parts of Alonganen, Balanaken, Buayan, Dado, Damabalas, Duaminanga, Kalipapa, Liong, Magaslong and Masigay, all in the Municipality of Datu Piang, as well as Barangays Penditen, Sambolawan and part of Barangay Pagatin of the Muncipality of Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Province of Maguindanao, are hereby separated from their respective Municipalities and are thus constituted into an independent, distinct and separate Municipality to be known as the Municipality of Datu Salibo in the Province of Maguindanano."
Sec. 2. - Section 2 of said Muslim Mindanao Autonomy Act No. 222 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 2. - The Land area of the municipality is described and defined or shall be founded as follows:

Sec. 3 - This Act shall take effect immediately upon publication in a newspaper of regional circulation.
